Teaming up to Create the Extreme Dream
When ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition came to Florida, MyddeltonParker Builders asked Arrive to help create a marketable web presence to promote the project.
The first step was creating a user-friendly website to help raise awareness, sponsors, and donations for the Tallahassee-based project. Arrive's creative service BlueLyte designed and developed ExtremeMyddeltonParker.com, which now showcases photos from the build, a builders blog, volunteer guestbook, and a PayPal integrated donation page.
The next step was hosting a website that expected millions of visitors within just a few days. We set the site up with one of BlueLyte's high traffic hosting solutions to handle the load.
Next comes the marketing. Arrive first turned to the search engines (naturally) for the first big push. Once top-ten rankings were attained for the website, Facebook, Twitter, and Craigslist were used to keep the local community up to date and continue to raise funds.
